The Fall Season starts on July 24th and will be played on Tues and Thurs until mid Sept.

Washburn Soccer is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing youth soccer for children in our area.  We are part of the greater soccer organization the Chequamegon Bay Soccer Club (CBSC) which serves children in Ashland, Bayfield and Washburn, WI.

Our primary focus is the summer soccer season, starting in late July and ending in late September.  Teams are organized by age, starting with the Under 6s (generally 4 and 5 year olds), and going up to ages 13 or 14.  Boys and girls generally play on the same team at the younger ages, but will form their own teams starting at Under 10 if there are enough signups.  Practices are typically held at the same time for all teams on Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30 pm at 29060 County Highway C - about 3 miles from downtown Washburn.

Bayfield soccer players and parents - this is the correct website to register for summer soccer. Bayfield teams typically practice at the city soccer fields off of Washington Ave (take a right about one mile up the hill from downtown, before the cemetery).

Combined Bayfield-Washburn teams

Our first priority is to organize teams where children can practice with a coach locally in their own town.  If an age group has low enrollment, the Board may try to form a team that combines Bayfield and Washburn players.  This may require parents to drive their children to the other town for practices and games.  The Board realizes that this is an additional burden for families, and will do their utmost to place children on local teams.  Other options include forming teams for small-sided games, having kids play on different age or gender team, or offering a refund.
